Director of Partner Marketing

CodePath is a national nonprofit that brings together employers, students, and colleges to eliminate inequities in tech education and provide underrepresented students with a path toward economic mobility. Our programming centers on the needs and successes of Black, Indigenous, Latinx, and low-income Computer Science students. Founded in 2017, CodePath has taught over 10,000 students and delivered courses across over 70 universities. We are supported by some of the largest and most well-respected organizations, including Andreessen Horowitz, Blue Meridian Partners, Cognizant Foundation, Comcast, Google, Meta, Salesforce, Walmart, and Workday, among others.
The Director of Partner Marketing will help increase the awareness of CodePath among key philanthropic organizations and Fortune 500 companies and help accelerate revenue growth. You will position CodePath as a leader in cultivating diverse and technically excellent talent, delivering systemic change in higher education, and helping employers diversify their tech workforces at scale.

CodePath is recognized by the largest philanthropic organizations and Fortune 500 companies as the leader in creating excellent and diverse tech workforces at scale while delivering economic mobility to underserved communities
We create and execute end-to-end go-to-market strategies of our corporate partnerships offerings, including pre-internship programs, sponsored courses, virtual career fairs, internship connection programs, and more
We deeply understand the different buyers - engineering leaders, HR leaders, corporate foundations, etc.
We empower our Revenue team with students and customer stories, competitive positioning, and a strong feedback loop between Revenue and product
Our marketing efforts generate qualified leads and accelerate Revenue growth, both in philanthropic dollars and earned revenue
We have a strong B2B brand supported by high-quality marketing collateral and activity that positions CodePath as the go-to leader for early talent
Requirements
Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Product marketing expertise with experience in product development and ideation (from a marketing POV), positioning, launch and sales enablement materials, and launch planning
Drive the implementation of funder and employer-facing campaigns that generate partnership leads and help meet revenue objectives
Define key marketing metrics and lead the process of converting measurements into performance reports and dashboards for CodePath’s marketing, revenue, and leadership teams
Establish and operationalize a marketing funnel to increase brand awareness and generate qualified leads
Put in place account-based marketing to drive client engagement, demonstrate the ROI of our programming, and support renewals and upselling
People Management
Cross-functional management and ability to work across and coordinate different functions, vendors, and external partners
Manage a high-velocity growth marketing function while mentoring and coaching the team to optimize and maximize efficiency
Direct the Partner Marketing team so that the group, capabilities, processes, and expectations support CodePath’s revenue goals
Content and Storytelling
Oversee the conceptualization, design, and production of a broad array of partner marketing materials in line with CodePath’s brand guidelines, including annual reports, presentations, white papers, thought leadership articles, case studies, videos, social media strategies, press releases, and data visualizations
Regularly communicate performance and content calendar updates to cross-functional teams to ensure future improvements and initiatives are supported
Work with marketing teams at partner companies to collaborate on co-branded marketing and leverage partner events, channels, and executives to amplify CodePath’s mission
Automation and Data
Savvy in using standard marketing automation tools & CRM systems (i.e., HubSpot, Salesforce)
Establish and maintain scalable processes that guarantee best practices in lead and campaign management, marketing automation systems, and marketing database management
Able to quantify reach and success of marketing endeavors to provide the leadership team with insight on brand saturation in our target markets and ROI of marketing campaigns
Qualifications
Minimum 7 years of experience in GTM strategy, product marketing, and/or lead generation
Commitment to enabling the success of diverse talent
Prior experience working in technology, either Saas or B2B services, with strong social missions
Proven track record of building strong and trusting relationships with Revenue/Sales teams
Deep knowledge of marketing to HR and/or Tech/Engineering leaders
Exceptional project management skills, attention to detail, and ability to juggle multiple competing priorities effectively
Strong people management skills and passion for developing talent
Salary and Benefits
USD $125,000 - USD $150,000 / year
