To build and grow the Multiplying Good brand, we are seeking a Marketing and Communications professional who is passionate and dedicated to the power of service and how it can transform the lives of others. This talented and creative individual will work closely with the VP of Marketing & Communications and other members of the Marketing & Communications department in their role as Associate, Marketing and Communications.
Core to the success of this role is an ability to manage MG external communication initiatives, including the organization’s visibility, public relations, social media, and media/communications outreach strategies, and the ability to write, edit, and publish extensive MG content.
Possessing strong project management skills, the Manager, Communications will bring to the role, extensive experience in communications strategy and ensure its reach to a diverse cross-section of audiences.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Create and/or source visually appealing and compelling designs, graphics, photos, collateral, and short videos for all of Multiplying Good’s digital platforms and organization needs.
Work with Leadership Communities, Development, Events, Alumni Outreach, and Program teams to create and/or source content for various key campaigns.
Work with the Marketing and Communications team to develop, create, and manage messaging and copy content; ensure that every communication embodies the brand, values, and commitment to equity through its voice.
Create consistent and cohesive brand voice across internal and external marketing materials, including collateral, presentations, press releases, events, and digital properties.
Expand, refine, and train MG team and external partners on the updated MG communication guidelines and frameworks to increase brand voice fidelity across all partners and leadership communities.
Work with Marketing and Communications team to ensure our collateral library has up-to-date written communication pieces for powerful and relevant storytelling.
Audit, update, and maintain library of all written copy across MG departments and communications channels—digital, social, print, experiential, earned, etc.—to ensure a consistent brand experience.
Develop compelling copy for organization, programs, and event materials as it pertains to media, website, press releases, newsletters, presentations, and more.
Collaborate with Marketing & Communications team and across MG departments to brainstorm, develop, and implement innovative communications strategies and plans that measurably reach key audiences and that are aligned with strategic initiatives and values.
Work with Marketing & Communications team to strategize annual editorial content to support audience engagement, extend program support and build awareness across all communication channels.
Write and develop various scripts for MG events and organization needs.
Ensure that all communications adhere to brand and communications standards and are written in a consistent Multiplying Good voice.
Collaborate with VP, Marketing & Communications in identifying areas of opportunities for communication and public relations growth.
Ownership of monthly data and metric reports for communication initiatives:
Research, track and analyze media relations and communications trends
Media impressions, reach, brand mentions, sentiment, engagement, earned media value.
Support the mission and day-to-day work of what needs to move the organization forward. As a dedicated and hardworking group of individuals, the team is “all hands-on deck,” doing whatever is necessary to meet the goals.
