Salesforce & Technology Administrator
About the Position
The Salesforce & Technology Administrator plays a critical role in ensuring the organization achieves its mission by equipping all team members with the knowledge, tools and support they need to reach their goals. The successful candidate is an experienced technology and database administrator who enjoys collaborating with executives and end users to proactively anticipate and define technology, systems and data-related needs; as well as researching, designing and implementing innovative solutions to meet those needs. They demonstrate a service-oriented approach with team members while providing timely and comprehensive training and support, and a consultative approach to identifying and recommending opportunities for continuous improvement of business processes in support of the organization’s goals. This is a full-time position reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, working collaboratively across all departments.
Desired Qualifications
At least 3 years of related experience as a Salesforce Administrator for an organization or department, including experience integrating 3rd party platforms and tools into Salesforce, including AppExchange tools.
Salesforce Administrator or Advanced Administrator Certification preferred, as well as familiarity with Non Profit Starter Pack (NPSP) and tools such as FormAssembly, Zapier, Conga, Classy, Adobe, Google Suite & Microsoft 365.
General technology and desktop support experience including device, account and related vendor management.
Demonstrated resourcefulness and creativity in identifying business requirements, analyzing options, proposing ideas, soliciting feedback, and gaining buy-in from others to ensure successful implementation and adoption.
Demonstrated experience with managing complex projects and competing requests for time and focus, including setting priorities, managing resources, navigating challenges and objections, and meeting or exceeding goals.
Advanced analytical and evaluative skills to effectively interpret and use information to support decision making.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills necessary to build relationships, collaborate in a diverse and dynamic team environment, and handle stressful, complex and confidential situations calmly and appropriately.

Core Responsibilities
Salesforce Administration
Oversee overall operational and administrative success of the Salesforce database, related application administration, and the building of sustainable and integrated systems to achieve organizational goals.
Partner with COO, external consultants, and other internal stakeholders on the continuous improvement of the overall database design and system architecture aligned with organizational priorities and goals.
Lead Salesforce and application support efforts including issue identification, resolution, and escalation and engagement with contract Salesforce and related consultants and vendors when added expertise is needed.
Identify, evaluate, recommend and implement new features, functionality, custom objects, third party solutions and app exchange packages based on business needs and goals, including seasonal releases.
Work collaboratively to maintain data standards and quality through ongoing analysis and record maintenance, while also identifying and implementing data quality process improvements and training.
Manage Salesforce user administration tasks including access management, permission sets, roles assignments, uploads, and data backups.
Partner with the Executive Team and others to design, implement and maintain various organization, team and individual-level dashboards, reports, and lists to monitor progress towards goals, evaluate historical and contextual trends and outcomes, segment communications, and inform decision-making and operations.
Technology Leadership
Oversee organization-wide research, design, implementation, and integration of Eye to Eye’s technology systems and infrastructure aligned with industry standards and best practices that prioritize end-user adoption and productivity, informed decision-making, impact measurement and evaluation, security, and sustainability.
Maintain up-to-date inventory and manage deployment of all hardware, devices, equipment, software, licenses, subscriptions and service agreements including purchasing, set-up, delivery, maintenance, loss and damage prevention, cybersecurity, troubleshooting, replacement, disposal, and all related vendors and contractors.
Maintain standard operating procedures (SOP), guides and tip sheets for all technology and equipment related needs and manage initial onboarding, and ongoing training and support as needed for individuals and teams to maximize utilization and minimize downtime for all assets and resources across the organization.
Organizational Support
Serve as an ambassador for Eye to Eye by participating in local, regional and national events and activities including retreats, conferences, webinars, fundraisers, board meetings, interviews, promotions and more.
Assist with and participate in various special projects and initiatives, including but not limited to, working groups, task forces, committees, and other duties as assigned or as interested.
Job Location & Schedule
This is a full-time position based out of Eye to Eye’s New York Headquarters, although work may be performed fully-remote from any location within the United States. The typical workweek is Monday through Friday, with flexible hours including occasional evening, weekend, and overnight meetings and events required.
Salary
The typical starting salary for this position is at least $75,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
