Email Marketing Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY

The Email Marketing Specialist will be responsible for the successful production, management, and deployment of outbound email campaigns, managing contact lists and suggesting segmentation strategies, and providing guidance in email best practices to stakeholders across the company. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage email calendar daily

  • Traffic email campaign requests and campaign assets to meet deadlines and notify appropriate parties as necessary 

  • Brainstorming and application of logistical email knowledge to marketing campaigns. 

  • Managing list segmentation, direct mail lists, list QA, list cleansing 

  • Deploy, track and report on email campaigns and related follow-up campaigns 

  • Analyze campaigns and recommend best practices, AB testing, new trends in email, etc. 

  • Manage the end-to-end email QA process 

  • Work closely with internal departments in the creation and implementation of email campaigns and projects 

  • Build workflows to automate the email sending process and audience segments 

QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge  

  • In-depth experience with HUBSPOT, including producing emails, using campaigns, building workflows, setting up forms, and analytics. 

  • A degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field, is preferred.

Skills and Abilities

Knowledgeable of the aspects of email marketing including delivery, analysis, legislation, authentication/ reputation systems, and general industry trends and metrics. 

  • Ability to successfully code, QA, and deploy outbound email campaigns at a fast pace 

  • Extensive understanding of email best practices, CAN-SPAM laws 

  • Experience with A/B testing, analysis, and reporting 

  • Experience with dynamically scripted emails 

  • Smartsheets experience preferred 

Experience

  • 3-5 years experience working in email production 

  • Excellent time-management skills, organization and project management skills 

  • Strong communication skills 

  • Strong copyediting skills 

  • Ability to quickly identify and address operational and process issues 

  • Experience with a responsive design for email 

  • 1+ years experience with Hubspot. 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Normal demands are associated with a deadline-driven office environment.

  • The noise level is generally quiet to moderate.

  • Daily contact with external customers, vendors, colleagues, associates, supervisors, and staff at all levels of the organization.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Ability to remain at a desk for extended periods of time.

  • Ability to communicate and exchange information with others.

  • Ability to perceive and inspect records in a document management system.

  • Ability to travel to off-site meetings up to 10%.

Salary

USD 60,000 - USD 65,000
