Aquidneck Community Table (ACT) works in the areas of health, environment, agriculture, and aquaculture to create a thriving local economy and make healthy food accessible to all on Aquidneck Island. We operate farmers markets, school and community gardens, partner in a composting program and work to generate community-wide discussion about a healthier more equitable food system.
Aquidneck Community Table — aquidneckcommunitytable.org Aquidneck Community Table runs farmers markets in Newport and Middletown, three community gardens, a compost program, and inspires people to build a more healthy and equitable food system on Aquidneck Island through community conversations and events.
ACT is looking for an experienced bookkeeper fluent in the Quick Books online platform to work up to 10 hours per week initially. Most work can be performed remotely. Some administrative tasks may also be included.
