Digital Media Officer (Part Time)
The Marine Megafauna Foundation is a non-profit charitable organisation aimed toward saving threatened marine life using pioneering research, education, and sustainable conservation solutions.
The Digital Media Officer is responsible for managing the Marine Megafauna Foundation’s social media channels, coordinating the production of digital content for our website and social media platforms, and other marketing activities as directed.
Required skills/experience
Experience in social media strategy, media relations and/or marketing
Deep understanding of social media platforms and analytics
Ability to increase brand awareness and develop new engagement strategies
Excellent written and language skills
Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability in successfully building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently driven
Strong communication skills, including the ability to liaise with team members on content, quality and opportunities for improvement
Responsibilities
Manage social media output for our global operations through different communication channels including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Linkedin
Design and manage digital media campaigns
Coordinate the creation of digital content
Manage end-to-end digital projects
Guide team members in following the MMF brand manual in their communications and ensuring consistency of our brand and message across all marketing strategies
Develop partnerships and liaise with key stakeholders including donors
Create marketing material to support and leverage MMF operations

Flexible, remote working conditions
Hourly rate based on experience
