End Allergies Together is a 501c(3) non-profit organization focused solely on funding the most promising research to accelerate treatments and cures for the growing food allergy epidemic affecting 32 million Americans and over 220 million people globally. EAT was launched in May 2015 to help bridge the significant gap in research funding. In four years, EAT has funded eight studies across eleven institutions and launched a $1 Million Anaphylaxis Grand Challenge to be awarded in early 2020.

Event and Marketing Program Manager
About the Role
EAT is seeking a high energy, creative, and organized Event and Marketing Program Manager to join our team. This role supports major annual events, designs marketing materials, and supports our College Ambassador Program, among other duties. This position works partially remotely and partially with our President in the Wellesley area. This is a part time position.
Job Responsibilities:
Event Management
  1. Manage event components independently and within the team
  2. Coordinate venue and vendor procurement, invitations, sponsorship, day-of timelines, volunteers, and logistics management
  3. Manage event budget and submit invoices to Accounting
  4. Manage RSVPs, donations, and sponsorship through our online software programs
Marketing and Communications
  1. Design email marketing newsletters, flyers, social media visuals, web pages and other materials, as needed
  2. Liaise with the Graphic Designer on website updates and other materials
  3. Support President in developing corporate presentations
  4. Execute donor thank yous and communications
Program Management
  1. Support the College Ambassador Program, which provides college students with event support to host fundraisers for EAT on their campus
  2. Assist College Ambassadors with facility, volunteer, and sponsorship procurement, promotional materials orders, advertising the event, and creating the day-of timeline
  3. Attend and assist College Ambassador events, if feasible
  4. Support donor management program by organizing database and executing communications throughout the year
  1. Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Communications, Marketing, Event Management, or other related fields
  2. Previous event coordination and/or marketing experience required. Photoshop, Indesign or other software experience preferred.
  3. Professional manner, ability to communicate with a wide range and diverse audience, and a demonstrated ability to complete projects independently and in a timely manner.
  4. Excellent computer skills. Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Constant Contact, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn required. GiveSmart, Photoshop/Indesign or other design software preferred.
  5. Strong writing and organizational skills required.
  6. Ability to work independently and manage members of the EAT team to get projects accomplished.
  7. Mission-driven and an interest in food allergy research, education, and advocacy a plus.
