Why Work Here?
Lifting Hands International is a scrappy, dynamic nonprofit with a strong brand and a number of successful, refugee-focused projects around the globe. Less than three years old, LHI’s mission to help refugees at home and abroad has resonated powerfully with donors and volunteers who have powered the rapid expansion of the organization. For the first couple years, we relied on an army of volunteers such that our overhead costs comprised less than two percent of our total expenses. Now, we’re seeking to expand our organizational capacity through hiring a Director of Development who is inspired by our mission, passionate about our projects, and capable of helping us level-up our development infrastructure.
Hours, Start Date, and Duration
A firm commitment to 35 logged work hours per week is required (with 5 lunch hours per week, to total 40 hours). You may choose when to allocate those work hours throughout the week, so long as you are available for meetings and messages during “core” business hours (10 am to 2 pm MST). The position will start at a mutually agreed upon date with a three-month probationary period.
Salary range: $45,000 - $55,000 depending upon qualifications and experience
Benefits include: per diem during work trips; flexible work hours; generous time off
