Membership & Operations Manager
EPIC is a non-profit organization and global network of applied ethnographers. Our members are researchers, designers, and innovators who use social research to solve problems and build better products and services for businesses and organizations. EPIC hosts an annual conference and offers online resources all year that support the professional needs of our members. https://www.epicpeople.org
EPIC is growing and we need a resourceful, meticulous, collaborative membership manager to join our small but mighty team. 
Core Activities
CRM & Data Management
  • Manage CRM database
  • Maintain data hygiene; migrate and process data
  • Configure and run reports
Member Service
  • Primary point of contact for member customer service
  • Assist members with account management and membership benefits
  • Field inquiries about our community, events, resources, and membership benefits
Event Registration & Support
  • Set up and manage event registration for annual conference, courses, and webinars
  • Provide customer service for event participants
  • Provide event data and administrative support to EPIC staff, instructors, and event volunteers
Skills
  • Software: We use multiple platforms and the software landscape is constantly changing, so we are looking for someone with general technical savvy, critical thinking, and methodical problem-solving abilities necessary to learn, navigate, and work across a variety of digital platforms and interfaces. Tell us about your experience with: CRM software (pref Salesforce); collaboration, video conferencing, survey, & event management platforms; Google Drive apps; MS Office (Excel, Word, PPT, or equivalents), WordPress. 
  • Data Management: Maintain the integrity and accuracy of data; understand concepts and organization of relational databases; configure queries and analyze reports.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication that is articulate, precise, patient, down-to-earth, and friendly. Able to give clear, systematic instructions to members for using platforms and accessing digital materials, as well as deliver and interpret data for EPIC staff.
Qualifications
  • Four-year college degree or equivalent
  • Demonstrated experience relevant to this position
This position is part-time, 20 hrs/week with potential for growth. Flexible hours, 100% remote work.
EPIC is a registered 501c3 in Oregon. Our entire the team operates virtually.
